6 inches of fresh snow by morning and still snowing. Me and my buddy Karl got to beech mountain at 9am. 5th car in the lot. It was snowing and cold as hell. We had a great day, cant believe it is the first week of December only, there is snow everywhere! 40 inch base already and open up top. Conditions were, powder and packed powder from last weeks snow. Opening NIght 11 21 08

Headed up after work at 4pm to Banner Elk. Sugar Mountain was open for its first night session. I had a nice ride up, and started to see some snow on the ground when I hit Boone. I arrived at Sugar Mountain a little after 6pm. It was great, saw all the cars, people with new gear(including me) ready to shred. I got suited up and headed to the lift line.
